The Story of “G three”

Ever since I was a kid, I have spent summer weekends and vacations at my family's eastern North Carolina beach cottage. Friends and family come from all over the southeast to enjoy the fiestas. There are a few staples that have made their way into the repertoire…great music, lots of laughs, excellent drinks, and most importantly, incredible food. My father, a virtuoso and guru on the grill, and my mother, an absolute wizard in the kitchen, make an unstoppable pair when it comes to creating a gourmet feast for the crowds.

 There is one guarantee that we all have come to enjoy…the slow cooked, entire beef fillet tenderloin, on The Holland Grill®. The master coats the entire slab of meat in olive oil and a bottle of spice island lemon pepper early in the morning to marinate. After an hour of Holland heat, the steak is sliced into 1 inch thick cuts and served with a potato compliment, steamed asparagus, and many other delectable sides that have been chosen by the woman in charge. The tenderness of this steak far surpasses the most sought after steak house. The most important part has yet to come. While the vegetables and sides were in the spotlight on the stove, a warm pot sat lonely off in the corner. Inside this pot was the origin of our company, G three.

 

This pot was filled with a steak sauce that could turn any grade of steak into an irresistibly tasty, first class masterpiece.

 It was this sauce that inspired my idea to create not only a mouthwatering steak sauce, but a delicious all purpose sauce that could be used on any meat. After years of tweaks and modifications, I have finalized my masterpiece.

I live by the moment. I enjoy the tiny, unique details in life. My guilty pleasures include beautiful sushi, high end sports cars, macro photography, and music.

Traveling the world has given me an incredible appreciation for all types of unique cultures, and foods. I have a constant craving to experiencing new tastes, combined with brilliant presentations.

G three is my way of bringing the world one-of-a-kind, exceptional flavors…with a fresh, stylish look.

I am a lover of the sea and forest, and the creatures within them. My philosophy on life is based on BALANCE; the perfect balance between work, relaxation, family, physical activity, social interaction, goals, education, creativity, planning and impulse, science and faith, humor and focus, self and selflessness. The mixture of this is something which needs to be tweaked often, and finding the right formula is a difficult challenge. I absolutely could not live without the humor and love from my close family and friends.

Life’s best: Hardly anything beats the feeling of jumping into a waterfall, hooking a nice fish, racing a car, swimming with a sea turtle, or coming home to visit family after a long absence.

After earning a Masters in Accounting at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, I relocated to Charlotte, NC to begin a career with the public accounting firm, Grant Thornton LLP. I have thoroughly enjoyed two years with the firm in public accounting as a licensed CPA. While hesitant to call myself a true entrepreneur, I have always had a strong desire to delve into such ventures - that is, given the right opportunity.

With the creation of the G3 brand, this opportunity has finally presented itself. Combining a sound knowledge of business operations with a love of all things food,

I am extremely excited to be a part of the G3 team as we strive to offer a fresh, new approach to an age-old product.


G3 Vision

As G three developed, we quickly noticed that although the flavors are exquisite, the identity of the entire sauce market is outdated. The ‘homegrown’ style labels line the shelves and although almost every other industry is changing with time, the sauces are stagnant.

Our vision is to introduce a fresh, new, contemporary vibe, along with great tasting sauces, to the market. We also hope to create new channels in order to offer G three products to many different cultures and lifestyles.
